Maurice Vogt, born in 1984 in The Netherlands, encountered music at a very young age, playing guitar from the age of 7 and later on some piano and percussion. His musical influence was started by his dad who gave him CD's from J. Lee Hooker, Pink Floyd, Queen, Oasis, Phil Collins and many others. Around the age of 12 Maurice started composing music for his rock band (influence from Soundgarden, David Grohl & Frank Zappa) and for many other musicians.
At 18 years old Maurice moved to Paris, France (to learn the rich musical/art culture and language) and took the challenge to record music in 2 ways. Creative on one side and technical on the other side. Working in many small concert theaters as well as in the famous L'OIympia concert hall and also in one of the most prestige recording studio in France "Studios de la Seine", Maurice learned quickly his way to become a sound engineer. In the mean time, he studied and finished sound engineering science at the SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Paris, October 2009.
Currently, Maurice is an independent freelance music professional with his own small project & mix studio in the heart of Paris near the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre. Working mainly as a mixing/recording engineer, as well as record producer and musical songwriter/composer.
